Cool Titanium Pocket Scalpel!
The engineering on this minimalist pocket knife is amazing. Although it is a pocket knife in general terms, I think it's more accurate to call it a pocket Scalpel. It has a really cool folding design, and the blades are easy to replace. It comes with five replacement blades, plus one installed. There are no instructions on how to replace the blade, but I was able to work it out with a pair of "needle nosed pliers" to grip the blade (for fear of cutting myself).Having changed one, I will say that if the blade does not slide easily into place... you don't have it lined up correctly. Don't force a replacement blade. When you have the alignment right, a replacement blad will slide slide all the way in with minimal force and snap over the tab that holds it.Overall, I'm thrilled with this pocket knife.
My new ultralight backpacking knife!I'm always on the lookout for lighter options for all of my backpacking gear. This little Ti knife is small and light enough to keep my back and knees happy while backpacking (they are very sensitive to weight), but plenty sharp enough to cut rope, open food packages, etc.It doesn't lock open, but it does hold open rather well anyway.
